India's Reliance Reportedly Issues US$7-8 Bln Tender

According to the Economic Times, India's Reliance Communications has issued a tender for 70 to 75 million GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications) lines and 20 to 25 million WCDMA (Wideband Code Division Multiple Access) lines. The newspaper stated that Reliance's tender is valued at around US$7 billion to US$8 billion, which would make it the biggest telecom tender in the world.
